Moved to Berlin, CT in 1831. He had a saw mill for a time in "Lower Shop". Privilege sold to J.T. Hart for Hart Manufacturing Co.. Milo was a portrait painter and a part time farmer. He was largely occupied with settlement of estates and in public business. He was a member of the board of school visitors for over 40 years and was active in temperance and abolitionist movement. In 1850 he owned real estate worth $5000. Joined Kensington Congregational Church with his wife, Rhoda, on April 1, 1836. Served on a church committee in JAN 1840. In 1844 church meeting voted to withdraw watch of Milo and Rhoda if they did not return to the church in two months. Lived at 289/291 Main St., Kensington circa 1855. Milo died at age 72 years.
