Baptized at Kensington Congregational Church. Married 1st Harriet E. Brown; married 2nd Nellie Lyman Hunt. In 1869, he was station agent for NY, NH & Hartford Railroad and Adams Express. He had a farm on Lower Lane and is listed in the 1876 Centennial Souvenir. He was a Selectman during 1870, 1871, 1874-1875 and 1878-1880. William died at age 75 years.
