"Merchant of Berlin who ran a general store in partnership with his father-in-law, Shubael Pattison, from 1809 until about 1819." - Tinsmiths of Connecticut - p.177
According to BPLH Card Notes another account says he was in partnership only from 1817-1821 and that the store was on the east end of Hudson St., 1st building to the north of Middletown Road and Worthington Ridge. BPLH Card Notes also place the store on the northeast corner of Worthington Ridge and Middletown Road. |
