Carol and her husband, Armand, lived on Tree Hill Rd., Berlin. Carol was a graduate of New Britain High School and was employed at the Connecticut Department of Transportation for twenty eight years; she retired as a fiscal officer in June, 1997. She was a member of St. Paul Church. Carol was a co-founder of the Beach Drive Beach Association, Westerly, RI. She died at New Britain General Hospital at age 63. She was survived by her mother, Katherine; her husband, Armand; a son and daughter-in-law, David A. and Suzanne Bonola of Hebron; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Thomas Retano of Berlin; a sister and brother-in-law, Melanie and Salvatore Bonola of New Britain; four grandchildren, Michael, Kevin and Nicholas Retano, and Benjamin Bonola; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Nicholas Tronsky, Sr. and by her brother, Norman. Calling hours and funeral services were at Porter's Funeral Home; Funeral Liturgy at St. Paul Church, Kensington. Donations to Connecticut Children's Medical Center, Newington or to the George Bray Cancer Center, New Britain General Hospital.
