Aurel was a resident of Kensington and Berlin for 40 years; he was formerly of New Britain. He was president of NAB Tool Co., Kensington until his retirement in 1986. Aurel was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, New Britain and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 10732, Berlin. He was a WW II Veteran serving on a PT boat in the Pacific. He died at New Britain General Hospital after a short illness. Survivors included his wife, Violet; two sons, Dean of Kensington and Neil of East Berlin; a daughter, Cheryl, of Charlton, MA; seven sisters, Mary Rose Thompson of West Hartford, Aurora Boissonneault of West Melbourne, FL, Alice Gosselin and Marie Eckert of Indiatlantic, FL, Diane Burke of Manchester, Rachel Schnabel of Newington, and Florette Olson of Southington; and two brothers, Maurice Boissonneault of Newington and Paul Boissonneault of Hendersonville, TN. Funeral services and calling hours were at Porter's Funeral Home, Kensington. Burial was with military honors was at Maple Cemetery, Berlin. Memorial donations to the American Diabetes Association.
