Frank graduated from New Britain High School. He was a veteran of WWII. He was employed by G. Fox & Co. for 24 years. He was later employed as a housing inspector for the City Improvement Commission for the City of New Britain until retiring in 1990. Frank was active in the New Britain Democratic Party, serving on various boards and commissions and as campaign advisor for several former mayors. He was a member of St. Paul Church and a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Monsignor Greylish Council; a member of the New Britain Elks Lodge No. 957; the Royal Arcanum; the Varpas Club; and was past president of the Italian Independent Political Club in Kensington. He died at age 67 at his home after a short illness. He was survived by his wife, Dorothy; his son, Frank, and son, John and his wife, Carol, all of Martha's Vineyard, MA and son, Joseph of Kensington; daughter, Marie of California; daughter and son-in-law, Carol Ann and Steven Barker of Wellesley, MA; a brother, Joseph, of Kensington; and two sisters, Lena Jortner and Jackie Timko, both of New Britain; four granchildren, an uncle, Michael Borselle and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Services and calling hours were at Porter's Funeral Home, Kensington; Mass of Christian Burial at St. Paul Church. Burial was with Military Honors.
