Albert lived on Vivian Drive in Berlin. He died at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford at age 69. He was a WWII U.S. Navy veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10732. He built houses with his father for many years. Albert owned and operated Beckley Gardens in Berlin for 22 years before retiring. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church in East Berlin. He was survived by his wife, Carol Wright Dauphin; a daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and James Hrenko of Kensington; three brothers, Joseph Dauphin of Newington, Gerard Dauphin of Ellington and Anthony Dauphin of Somers; four sisters, Theresa Rosignol of Newington, Irene Abdalla of Somersville, Lucille Tounsley of Colchester and Pauline Veillette of Ivoryton; five grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services and calling hours were held at Porter's Funeral Home in Kensington. Funeral liturgy at Sacred Heart Church in East Berlin. Burial was with military honors. Memorial donations to Sacred Heart Church.
