Earl died at John Dempsey Hospital in Farmington at age 81 years. He was formerly of New Britain and Berlin. He worked as an armored car driver for Dunbar Security. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the Southington Sportsman Club. Earl was survived by one son, Toussaint Adams; two daughters, Stephanie Adams, and Joyce Adams; four granchildren; and five great-grandchildren; all of New Britain. He was predeceased by his wife, Mamie [Bryant] Adams. Calling hours were held at the Paul A. Shaker/Farmingdale Funeral Home in Farmington. Funeral rites were held at the funeral home on 13 JAN 2005; Rev. Steven Crabtree presided. Burial was with full military honors. The American flag was presented to his son, Toussaint.
