Major Quarello died at age 71 years. He had lived in Kensington before moving to California. He was a US Navy veteran of WWII and was a training business specialist for Exxon of America. He was survived by his wife, Margaret; two sons, Alan and his wife, Joan of MA, John and his wife, Ella of Colorado; five grandchildren; two sisters, Justine and Rose; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services were held at sea off the coast of Newport Beach, CA.
