Dorothy attended St. Mary's School and was a1939 graduate of New Britain Senior High School. She retired from the US Army Procrurement Office at Pratt & Whitney after 34 years of service and had also worked at New Britain Machine.
She was a charter member of the Berlin VFW Woman's Auxiliary; a volunteer of the American Red Cross; a member of the Berlin Democratic Town Committtee and served on the Berlin Planning Commission for many years.
Dorothy was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church of East Berlin for 60 years.
She was predeceased by her 1st husband of 45 years, Alfonse Woznis.
She was survived by her husband of 12 years, August E. Audibert, Sr; her sister, Ida [Mangan] Ragazzi of Berlin; a brother, John J. Mangan, Jr. of New Britain; many nieces and nephews; nine godchildren; 19 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services and calling hours were held at Berlin Memorial Funeral Home in Kensington. Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church in East Berlin. Memorial donations to the American Cancer Society, The Connecticut Hospice Facility in Branford or charity of donor's choice.
