Died at age 75 years at New Britain General Hospital. Had lived on Farmington Ave., Kensington. He had been employed as a head foreman at Pratt & Whitney in Southington and was the founder of Gill & Sons Garage, Inc. in Berlin. Was a member of St. Paul's Church in Kensington , the Knights of Columbus, the Veteran's of Foreign Wars Post No. 10732, and the French Model Club.
In addition to his wife and children, he leaves three brothers, Albert Berube of St. Francis, ME, and Floyd and Valmont Berube, both of Southington; and five sisters, Doris Harvey of St. Francis, ME, Norma Jandreau of Van Buren, ME, Jacqueline Nadeau, Robertine LeBrun, and Iris Dumont, all of Southington. Funeral was at the Berlin Memorial Funeral Home, Kensington. Mass at St. Paul's Church. Burial was with full military honors. Memorial donations to American Diabetes Association.
