Died at home at age 84 years. Resided in Kensington since 1978. He was president of Suburban Travel in Berlin. Was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in New Britain, Walnut Hill Lodge No. 139 AF&AM, the American Society of Travel Agents, the Hartford Club an d the Berlin Chamber of Commerce. He was a former member of the Berlin Lions Club and the 33 Club. He was a graduate of New Britain High School and the University of Hartford.
In addition to his wife and daughters, survivors include two step-sons, Frederick Anlyan of Mill Valley, CA and Alexander Anlyan of Cabot, VT.; four grandchildren, Meredeth Zaches, Jennifer Giantonio, Kelly Anlyan and Valeshka Anlyan; a great grandson, Tyler Zaches; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held at St. Mark's Episcopal Church. Burial was at convenience of the family. Calling hours at Carlson Funeral Home, New Britain.
