Died after an unexpected complication due to her Multiple Sclerosis. She was a 1977 graduate of New Britain High School and a 1981 graduate of Western Connecticut State College. Was employed for eight years at The Hartford. She was a Girl Scout leader, amember of the Griswold Elementary School PTO, and served as a roommother and volunteer librarian. Was chosen to serve on the Governor's Council for People with Disabilities and also on The Hartford's Team of Inclusion and Diversity. Active member of the MS Society, particpating in many public awareness events. Served as Ambassador for the Greater Connecticut Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in Newington. Served as a counselor and assistant of the New Britain Fresh Air Camp. Member of St. Paul's Church in Kensington.
Funeral services at Farrell Funeral Home, New Britain. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Paul's Church. Burial was private. Donations to National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
