Married in the Kensington Congregational Church to his first and second wives, he was from Berlin as were both his wives (his first wife died in 1815, he remarried in 1817.) He and first wife, Clarissa, are recorded as members of the church in 1808, two of his children were baptized in the church. BPLH Room Card Notes record that he sat in Box 8 in Kensington Congregational Church in 1815 and also record that he sat in 24 in the same year. Luther died at age 65.
