Asaph was a tinner of Berlin, who specialized in making foot stoves. His shop was the front room of his home. Made tinware - displayed articles in front window. He and Daniel French made first cut nails in this country, a trade previously forbidden by law at a site that was later called Norton's Saw Mill.
He was baptized at Kensington Congregational (Christian Lane) Church. He joined Berlin Congregational Church on 07 JUN 1801. He died at age 79 years.
Goodrich twins born Apr. 4, 1797, one died 14, one 16 APR 1797 and are buried at South Cemetery.
