Married in the Kensington Congregational Church, he was from Berlin, his wife from Chatham. He joined the church on June 10, 1835, served on the Standing Committee of the church in 1860. During a meeting of the ecclesiastical society in 1848 he was voted to be "authorized to put on the blinds which were purchased by the Young Ladies Sewing Society.
He was 57 years old in the 1860 census records and was employed as a joiner and carpenter. He also as a farmer.
Died at age 77.
