Was on a standing committee of Kensington Congregational Church in 1835. Married at Kensington Congregational Church; Lucy and Selden both from Berlin. He was from the "Blue Hills" section of Kensington. Selden was baptized as an adult on 04 AUG 1816 . He became infirmed and later moved to Meriden. On 14 AUG 1816 he joined Meriden Church. On 01 MAR 1861 Mr. And Mrs. Selden were received to Kensington Congregational Church by letter from the Church in Meriden. Their children were Sherman, Hattie G., Henry H., George Selden, Harriet Emily, and Lucy Ann. He died at about age 77 years. Selden is listed in Postmaster's letter [microfilm] on 2/1839.
