The Berlin-Peck Memorial Library Children’s Department, in collaboration with Berlin’s Economic Development Department, is excited to announce the Booking Around Berlin Community Scavenger Hunt! There’s no better time to get out from behind those computer screens and explore our town. Between Tuesday, December 22, 2020, and Sunday, January 31, 2021, we invite you to participate in this fun and safe activity that helps families connect with each other and their community while learning and earning rewards.

How It Works

Twenty Berlin businesses (plus the library) have hung posters of popular children’s book titles in their windows. Find each poster and write down the title of the book pictured on the Booking Around Berlin Map and Log. You can pick up a hard copy of the map at the library or participating businesses, or download and print one here: Booking Around Berlin Map and Log (use legal-size paper, double-sided). Log at least 15 book cover titles and return the map to the library (or scan it and send it to kids.bpml@gmail.com) to be entered into a drawing* to win one of twenty $10-$15 gift cards from local businesses! You will also earn a special treat that can be picked up in the library** (or via our Curbside Pickup Service).

*Drawing (of qualified entrants) will take place on February 1, 2021.

**Special treats will be available for pickup at the library (for qualified entrants) between January 25 and February 5, 2021.
