Located just off the coast of Africa, Connecticut was once the center of the world with mountains higher than the Himalayas—that is, it was 450 to 250 million years ago.
Unravel the stories in of Connecticut’s exciting geological past that are told by the rocks around us and learn how those ancient times still influence present-day Connecticut.
Sponsored by Berlin Land Trust.
