Spice It Up! kits includes a sample of a new spice as well as information sheets and a few recipes to try. Whichever you choose, we hope you’ll snap a picture of your finished recipe and share it and your thoughts with us via email, or on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.
Sumac has a tangy, almost citrus-like taste, with no “spicy” heat.
New Englanders might balk at the name “sumac,” but don’t worry—it does not come from the poison sumac plant!

Supplies are limited, so place your hold as soon as possible. Once all of the kits are reserved, there will be a waiting list. If a kit is not picked up after 5 days, it will go to the next person on the list.
Registration opens February 28. Once you’ve placed a hold, kits will be available for pickup Wednesday, March 16.
