Folded Paper Cranes

Included in Kit:

  • Decorative origami paper

Berlin-Peck Memorial Library invites all our friends in Berlin and beyond to join us in a town-wide project of making 1,000 paper cranes. You may donate these for display at the library, keep them, or give them to others in the community.

Quilled Heart

Included in Kit:

  • 5”x5” white cardstock base (1)
  • 11” x ¼” white cardstock strips (2)
  • quilling paper, assorted colors (12)
  • quilling pen (1)—MUST BE RETURNED TO LIBRARY

Additional Supplies Needed:

  • white or craft glue
  • scissors
  • ruler or bone folder
  • tweezers
  • Toothpick or small paint brush
  • paper/plastic plate

Once you’re finished, we would love to display your heart as part of our Hearts for Heroes display!

Show your support for healthcare and frontline workers by making a heart to display in our windows. You can make any kind of heart you would like – any size, decorated, drawn, painted, cut out, or not. Take them to the library and leave them in our “heart collection” basket out front, weekdays from 9-5, throughout the month of June. Please sign your decorated heart (and provide contact information) if you’d like it back once the display comes down.
