Seed Library

Encouraging the tradition of seed saving, nurturing locally-adapted plant varieties, and fostering a community culture of sharing.

Borrowing Seeds

Stop by to check out vegetable, flower, and herb seeds from our seed library! There are no late fees, no due dates, and you don’t need to donate seeds in order to borrow seeds. Looking for specific seeds? Give us a call at 860-828-7126 and we’ll let you know if it’s here!

The best time of year to check out seeds is February, but the seed library is open year-round.

Browsing the catalog on mobile? You may need to click “see more” to see the full list of seed varieties.
