Since the dawn of time, drumming has been associated with bringing about positive physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. Anyone who has laid hands on a drum will tell you it makes them feel good! Hands on Drumming will take you on a multicultural, meditative, music and movement journey.
Bring your own drum or use one of ours. You’ll experience rhythms and songs from around the world, improvisation, meditative entertainment and ecstatic movement.
Adults, teens, and children age 5+ are welcome. All abilities are welcome.
Sponsored by a partnership between the Berlin-Peck Memorial Library and Berlin Social Services (Anchored in Wellness series).
About the Presenters
Craig & Denise of Hands on Drumming offer rhythmic wellness events in schools, hospitals, group homes, assisted living and wellness centers throughout New England. With a light touch and big ears, they give everyone a chance to shine and be musical. Craig is endorsed by Remo Drums and directed Rhythms of Life, a feature length documentary on the wellness of drumming.
