Books and activities to help caregivers connect with their loved ones.
What is a Memory Kit?
Memory Kits contain books, activities, and other items for caregivers and loved ones suffering from dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Each bag has caregiver handbooks, classic music CDs, conversation starter cards, simple picture books, and other reminders of times gone by.
Available thanks to a grant from the American Savings Foundation.
Borrowing Rules
The Metal detector can be borrowed just like a book. You can even place holds in the online catalog!
- 3 week loan period
- 2 renewals
- Must be picked up and returned in person to Berlin-Peck
- Cannot be returned in book drop
- Essential oil roller is yours to keep!
Loss or Damage
Borrowers will be charged for lost, dirty, or damaged items. Because we want to keep items in good working order, they cannot be returned in the book drop. If the item is returned in the book drop, the borrower will be held responsible for the damage and the replacement cost.
To prevent damage, DO NOT return this item in the book drop.
