What is a Library Hotspot?
Library Hotspots provide wireless internet connection to your smartphone, tablet, laptop, and any other Wi-Fi capable devices. You can connect multiple devices at a time, and access the internet anywhere within the Sprint network.
Reserve Online
You may reserve Hotspots online through MuseumKey. To reserve by phone, call 860-828-7125.
Borrowing Limits
- 2 week loan period
- Cannot be renewed
- May be borrowed once per household per 60 days
- Must be picked up and returned in person to Berlin-Peck
- Cannot be returned in book drop
- Adults only
Internet access is not filtered or monitored by the library, and the library takes no responsibility for what you do when accessing the internet through the Hotspot.
Lost or Damaged Items
Borrowers will be charged for lost, dirty, or damaged items. Replacement costs may vary. Because we want to keep items in good working order, they cannot be returned in the book drop. If the item is returned in the book drop, the borrower will be held responsible for the damage and the replacement cost. The wireless service will be turned off after its due date.
