What is a Library HotSpot?

Library HotSpots provide wireless internet connection to your smartphone, tablet, laptop, and any other Wi-Fi capable devices. You can connect multiple devices at a time, and access the internet anywhere within the Sprint network.

Borrowing Limits

  • 2 week loan period
  • Cannot be renewed
  • May be borrowed once per household per 60 days
  • Must be picked up and returned in person to Berlin-Peck
  • Cannot be returned in book drop
  • Berlin residents only
  • Adults only

Internet access is not filtered or monitored by the library, and the library takes no responsibility for what you do when accessing the internet through the HotSpot.

Late, Lost, or Damaged Hotspots

Borrowers will be charged for late/lost/damaged equipment, cords, etc. The wireless service will be turned off after its due date. Because we want to keep Library HotSpots in good working order, they cannot be returned in the book drop.

Book Drop Fine $25.00
Charged if the HotSpot is returned in a book drop or to another library

Charger cord replacement $15.00
