Friends of the Library
The Friends of the Berlin-Peck Memorial Library.
We ❤ our Friends
The Friends of the Berlin-Peck Memorial Library is a 501(c)(3) non-profit volunteer organization committed to supporting and advocating for the Library. The Friends sponsor programs, fund museum passes, provide funds for materials beyond the regular library budget, encourage reading, and perform needed services for our library. Membership is the Friends major source of income, which helps library to provide all sorts of great services to the community, and to you—free of charge. Meetings are usually the first Wednesday of each month.
Like New Book Sale
The Friends of the Berlin-Peck Memorial Library Book Sale is located downstairs in the Community Center. There is a great selection of books, DVDs and CDs at low prices—and items for children, teens and adults! All proceeds go towards library programs and events.
Book Sale Hours
To contain the spread of COVID-19, the Friends Book Sale will be CLOSED for the foreseeable future.
Donating books and other items
Donated items in good condition are always appreciated. We accept gently used books, DVDs, CDs and video games. We cannot accept magazines, VHS tapes, cassette tapes, records, old encyclopedia sets, or dated text books. Donated books that are dirty, torn, or musty will be refused or discarded. Small donations can be dropped off at the store during regular hours, the library’s front desk during library hours, the entrance to the bookstore, or behind the library building on the wooden pallets. Large donations can be dropped off on the wooden pallets.
The more members we have, the more resources and services we are able to provide! Please support your local library and your community by becoming a Friend today. All membership dues and donations are tax deductable.
To join, bring a completed membership form to the library, or email it to the Friends.
