Get creative and crafty by creating your own nature-inspired blackout poetry in celebration of National Poetry Month and Earth Day! Blackout poetry is an art form that integrates both drawing and writing through the process of repurposing. This program will include most supplies needed (you provide glue, a pencil and scissors). Once you have registered you may pick up your kit in the Children’s Area anytime between Monday, April 12th and Wednesday, April 14th. Your kit will be in a bag labeled with your last name and first initial. If you prefer to pick up your kit outside, please call the library and we will bring it out to you. If you do not pick up your kit by Wednesday, April 14th at 8pm it will be given to the next spot on the waiting list. Questions? Call us at (860) 828-7127.
