    Join NASA volunteer Andy Poniros and learn about what the James Webb Space Telescope, the largest optical telescope in space, has discovered about our universe.

     

    About the Presenter

    Andy Poniros has been a NASA volunteer since 1997 and a NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador since 2004 . He has a degree in Electrical Engineering and has worked as a Medical Imaging Engineer for 48 years. Andy is certified by NASA to handle Lunar samples, is a science correspondent for a local Connecticut radio station, produces astronomy and space mission radio shows and podcasts, is an amateur astronomer, and a telescope maker. In his spare time, Andy enjoys spending time with his family, educating the public in science and astronomy, and designing and building telescopes.

We recommend installing Zoom on whichever device you will use (computer, smartphone, tablet) before the program starts. When you click the invite link, you will be prompted to open or install Zoom.
