Are you starting to grow your first vegetable garden, but don’t know what to do next? Join garden expert Jillian Shea to learn how to keep your garden healthy and productive through the growing season ahead.

Jillian Shea will give you an easy-to-follow checklist for growing food in any size space while sharing some tricks of the trade to keep growing with confidence. This session will be followed with a live Q&A to discuss any questions you have about gardening at home.

This program is appropriate for beginners, but experienced gardeners will also enjoy learning some tips along the way!

Co-Sponsored by Newington, Rocky Hill, Berlin, and Wethersfield Libraries. This program will also be available as a recorded program to view, after the live presentation.

    About the Presenter

Connecticut garden expert Jillian Shea is “your friendly neighborhood plant coach” and founder of PlantHer Garden Coaching. She is a seasoned farmer and horticulturalist who has educated on a number growing methods (from school gardens, community organic farms and soil-less commercial farms) over the past 14 years.

    Video Chat

We will meet online with a video chat using Zoom. If you have never used Zoom before, it is very simple and user friendly. Prior to the program you will receive an invitation to the Zoom meeting.
