    Join us for a performance by jazz vocalist Atla DeChamplain, pianist Matt DeChamplain, bassist Dave Daddario and percussionist Christopher Swist.  Registration is not required.

    About the Performers

    Atla DeChamplain has studied with jazz legends and notables Jon Hendricks, Shawnn Monteiro, Dena DeRose, Nat Reeves and Steve Davis. She has degrees from the Jackie McLean Institute of Jazz at the Hartt School of Music and the University of Toledo and is currently teaching jazz voice at Western CT State University.

    Matt DeChamplain grew up in Wethersfield and has degrees from the Jackie McLean Institute of Jazz at the Hartt School of Music and the University of Toledo. Matt has performed at numerous jazz festivals and with jazz notables Norman Johnson, Nat Reeves, Dave Brubeck and others. Matt currently holds faculty positions at the Hartt School and continues to perform, arrange and compose.

    Dave Daddario is a professional versatile Musician, Bassist, Drummer, Multi-Instrumentalist, Music Arranger, retired Music Educator, Public School Band and Orchestra Director for over forty-one years and began his teaching in New Britain schools and music stores. Dave has performed with a huge roster of notable musicians, vocalists, entertainers and celebrities around the country in Bands, Orchestras and Ensembles of all sizes in a wide variety of venues.

    Christopher Swist grew up in the music industry and was a drum prodigy. He started lessons with Buffalo Philharmonic percussionist John Rowland at age 6 and continued his studies at SUNY-Buffalo and The Hartt School. His work has been performed by numerous orchestras and ensembles, and he performs as a soloist, playing both acoustic and electronic music. He is currently the Director of Recording Arts at Trinity College in Hartford and has produced 2 solo albums: Whitewater of 2001 and Duality of 2013.
