Join poet and master teaching artist Victoria Nordlund to craft poems in response to artwork created by local community members.

From haiku suites, to free verse, to concrete poetry, this workshop encourages the convergence of visual and poetic expressions, fostering a supportive and dynamic environment where works may be shared and potentially exhibited at our library. Welcoming writers of all levels, the workshop promises an enjoyable exploration of Ekphrasis poetry, weaving words and imagery to articulate emotional experiences and subject matter inspired by art.
