    Monthly Newsletter

Stay up-to-date with our monthly newsletter!

No garden is complete without this queen of American shrubs. From 18-inch, container-sized, reblooming beauties to 8-foot explosions of multicolored zing, there is a hydrangea for every garden.

Through slides and discussion, you’ll learn all about hydrangeas, including their proper care, and the hardy cultivars that perform well despite over-enthusiastic pruning, wildlife, and finicky weather. You’ll leave this talk never again having to ask the question, “Why doesn’t my hydrangea bloom?”

Sponsored by the Kensington Garden Club.

    About the Presenter

Presented by Lorraine Ballato, an award-winning writer, speaker, horticulturist, photographer and confirmed plantaholic.

As an expert horticulturist and hydrangea expert, Lorraine’s Lorraine Ballato looking at hydrangeas love affair with plants comes through in her lectures, social media writings, magazine articles and photographs, which you can find in Connecticut Gardener, Edible Nutmeg, and elsewhere.
