If you are interested in watching this online event at the library, let us know when you register.
Perhaps you have these questions:
- How is my Social Security benefit computed?
- Will the program still be around?
- What protections are offered by paying into SSA?
- What I should consider in deciding when to apply for benefits?
- What if I become disabled? What if I die? Who is eligible for benefits on my record?
- Can my ex-spouse collect on my record? Say what??
This program will offer correct information directly from the source!
We’ll talk about…
- Retirement Benefits
- Disability Benefits
- Survivor Benefits
- Medicare Benefits
- Spousal Benefits
- Online services
- Creation of online Social Security accounts
Robert Rodriguez, SSA Public Affairs Specialist, will provide an excellent, eye opening, humorous and educational overview of the “most misunderstood” benefit that all workers and retirees have!
