Phone and video interviews are becoming commonplace, especially since the COVID-19 pandemic. Join us to discuss ideal locations and conditions for conducting the interview, the importance of body language, technology overviews, appropriate dress codes, and strategies to build confidence.

Prior to COVID-19 many companies were implementing phone and video interviews as part of their hiring process. Now virtual interviews are becoming commonplace as it relates to remote hiring.
This Zoom workshop will address many topics including ideal locations and conditions for conducting the interview, the importance of body language, technology overviews, appropriate dress codes, and strategies to build confidence.
About the Presenter
Gary Gekow has over 30 years of employment consulting and recruiting experience in the Boston marketplace. He has earned preferred vendor status with many high profile companies including Fidelity Investments and John Hancock. He also works with individuals in the greater Boston area and throughout New England assisting them with job search strategies. This includes resume writing, cover/thank you letter writing, interviewing skills, transitioning into new careers, salary and benefits negotiation, and on-line job search.

We will meet online with a video chat using Zoom. If you have never used Zoom before, it is very simple and user friendly. We recommend installing Zoom on whichever device you will use (computer, smartphone, tablet) before the program starts. When you click the invite link, you will be prompted to open or install Zoom.
