There may not be as much trick-or-treating this year—but you can still get into the Halloween spirit with a scary (or not-so-scary) movie!

The list is broken up into kid-friendly favorites like Hocus Pocus—dark and moody choices like The Shining and Interview with the Vampire—fun horror flicks like Beetlejuice or Scary Movie—paranormal action adventures like Constantine—realistic thrillers like Gothika and Panic Room—a whole host of horror, from Blair Witch Project to the new Stephen King’s IT—and don’t forget classics like The Addams Family!
