Ages
Families with children in grades 2+
Join Katie, Registered Dietitian from Food Explorers to make homemade Chocolate Peppermint Pop-Tarts! You’ll learn how to make pastry dough from scratch, a chocolate fudge filling, and a delicious glaze to drizzle on top with crushed candy canes. This event is family-friendly (for families with children in grades 2 and up) and will take place over Zoom! Registration is required and begins December 15. Once you register, you will receive an e-mail with Zoom information one day prior to the program. FAMILIES, PLEASE REGISTER FOR ONLY ONE ZOOM LINK.
You will need the following ingredients for this recipe:
- cocoa powder
- chocolate chips
- butter
- AP flour
- sugar
- 1 egg
- confectioners sugar
- whole milk OR heavy cream
- candy canes or peppermint candy.
