    Library Director’s Message

    Dear Library Patrons,

As we welcome the arrival of March (and hopefully some sunny days), I’m excited to say that we have a full month of fun and engaging activities planned! I would like to use this space each month to share announcements and updates on new library services and initiatives. Firstly, I am so happy to announce that Anne Henriques has been promoted to Head of Adult Services. Many of you know Anne through her Make and Take classes and her Courageous Conversations series. Anne’s creativity and dedication to the Berlin community make her the perfect fit for this role!

Next, I’d like to share a new database available to all Berlin-Peck cardholders: Craft and Hobby. This platform offers on-demand instructional videos spanning 22 different creative categories (ex: knitting, photography, fitness, painting, etc.) allowing users to learn new hobbies or improve skills in an existing area. We’d love you to try it out and let us know what you think!

As always, I welcome your feedback and encourage you to stop by to say hello, contact me to schedule a personal library tour or send me an email at ctyszka@berlinpeck.org.

Thank you for being part of our vibrant library community!

    Sincerely,
    Carrie Tyszka, Library Director
